FAS Spring Birding Workshop
Each Spring Participants in the FAS Birding Workshop come together for a six week course on birds and birding. Sheryl Young conducts six classroom instruction programs with each class focusing on a different family of birds and their habitats. the classes are held at the Frost Center in Huron on Thursday evenings at 7PM for six consecutive weeks starting in late March and finishing up right at the height of spring migration in early May.

The second portion of the class consists of 8AM Saturday morning Field trips to different areas to try to locate, learn and discuss the birds that were the focus of the Thursday evening classes. These group field trips are always a lot of fun.

The workshop is limited to 45 participants at a cost of $50.00 for both the Thursday class and the Saturday Field Trip! Each student will receive many handouts, literature and maps and will learn about birds, their sounds, habitats and behaviors. Don't miss this opportunity to meet and bird with other birders of all levels in BIRD CLASS.
